No Wild Weekend
It's out now.
Miffed a lowly Russian programmer was only several orders of magnitude smarter than they were and embarrassed them by beating them to the punch for a fix for their own operating system, Microsoft today rushed out their own patch for the WMF flaw.
No word yet how effective it is.
Maybe it will hold - then again maybe it's just typical Microsoft coding.
But for now the planet can get back to business and perhaps enjoy the weekend - thanks and no thanks to Microsoft.
For now Windows (l)users can again procrastinate their inevitable migration.
