Spotify Goes iPhoneThe new millennium's #1 killer app available now.
STOCKHOLM (Rixstep) -- 09:17 local time 28 August 2009: Spotify announce on their blog that Spotify for the iPhone will shortly be available in the UK, Sweden, France, Spain, Norway, and Finland.
'Spotify on the iPhone will include many of the features our users enjoy on the desktop, with the added advantage of letting you listen to your playlists even when you haven't got a network connection', the brief post continues.

Spotify are expected to launch in the US market this autumn. Reports are the company are already beefing up their server park to manage the coming demands on bandwidth.
Several media sources have speculated why Apple handled the Spotify situation so well. MacNN suggested Apple had to take on Spotify so as to not incur the wrath of the US Department of Justice. Daniel Ek however reports he's had excellent relations with Apple from the get-go.
Whatever: the #1 killer app of the new millennium now goes mobile.
